A Rich History with a Modern Twist
5 Kadayanallur St dates back to our colonial period, and was built in the 1920s to house the St Andrew’s Mission Hospital for Women and Children. Located in the bustling heart of Maxwell, the building opened its doors in 1923 and is recognised as possibly the earliest Modernist building constructed in Singapore. This architectural gem is also home to the oldest electric lift in the country, adding to its historical significance.
