Who is able to use Telemed?

Telemeds are appropriate for individuals over the age of 2 who require care for non-urgent health conditions.

If you are under 16 years old, it is necessary to have a parent or guardian, who is 21 years or older, accompany you throughout the video consultation. The guardian is required to present a valid identification (such as NRIC, passport, etc.) to the physician at the beginning of the teleconsultation.

    What conditions are suitable for Telemed?

    Conditions that are suitable for Telemed includes (non-exhausive):

    Headaches and migraine
    Fever, cold and flu
    Diarrhoea and constipation
    Cough and sore throat
    Rashes and skin irritation 

     

    Conditions that require emergency medical attention are not suitable for Telemed.

      What conditions are not suitable for Telemed?

      Telemed is intended for handling non-urgent medical problems. The following is a non-comprehensive list of conditions that are not appropriate for Teleconsult Doctor:

      • Emergency situations like chest pain, deep or bleeding wounds, significant difficulty breathing, seizures, intense pain, sudden weakness, numbness or difficulty speaking, and suspected broken bones
      • Conditions that are not minor
      • Dizziness or balance issues
      • Asthma
      • Abdominal pain accompanied by fever
      • Fever lasting more than three days
      • Any form of injuries
      • Initial diagnosis of chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol
      How will my medication be delivered to me after consultation?

      A courier service will deliver your medication to your address. You must present your identification card to confirm your identity in order to receive the medication.

      How do I receive my Medical Certificate?

      Upon completing your consulatation with our doctors, your Medical Certificate will be sent to you via Email.

      How do I make payment?

      Payment is to be made via PayNow. Before the consultation, you are required to pay the consultation fee of $35. Upon completing your consultation with our doctors, you are required to make payment for your medications.
